Bothell
McMenamins is a short walk from the Cabin. A great place to walk around, swim in the pool or sit outside by the fire and have a drink.
Woodinville is a short drive from the Cabin and a wonderful place to do some wine tasting! With over 130 tasting rooms and many restaurants to stop and grab a bite
At Country Village meandering paths lead you through a whimsical world of trains, duckponds, home decor, one of a kind toys, gifts, restaurants, antiques, and more!
Downtown Seattle
There aren’t many other cities in America with spotless views of mountains and waterways from the heart of downtown, but Seattle delivers on both natural wonders and world-class attractions all in one spot. In this walkable cityscape, stroll among skyscrapers to mega shopping centers, historic theaters, iconic Pike Place Market, and more.
Leavenworth, Washington
Just an hour and a half drive East will get you to Leavenworth Washington! Once in Leavenworth, while you can certainly drive through downtown, the area is made for walking, biking (and after a nice winter snowstorm) sledding. Miles of trails beckon for your bike, boots, or skis, and local transit serves our valley multiple times daily.
Woodland Park Zoo
Founded in 1899, Woodland Park Zoo has sparked delight, discovery and unforgettable memories for generations of Northwest families. People who experience the wonders of the natural world are inspired to protect it. That's why every year we lead more than 1 million people on a journey that inspires a lifelong love of animals, makes science come alive, and gives people the tools to take conservation action.
Wallace Falls
Wallace Falls (deriving its name from Kwayaylsh, surname of the first homesteaders in the area) trail is in great condition. Although the park sees a lot of foot traffic due to its popularity, the trail remains well maintained and relatively clean thanks in part to maintenance from WTA.
